Vokswagon is announcing a massive recall
In a potential image damaging situation Vokswagon is announcing a massive recall. Volkswagen has recalled 410,000 Passats. The problem includes several problems as well as damage to the heat shield. Early warning signs include smelling fuel in the vehicle. This is a voluntary recall. No injuries have yet been reported. So much for their safety ratings

VW’s troubles started a long time ago when they decided to export their factories overseas. It’s sad to see because I used to have a terrific VW that was made in Germany and lasted forever with minimal repairs and now all the VWs made overseas is having all kinds of issues.
