The financial sector continued to struggle
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended down 56.68 points today down .50 percent for the day. The Nasdaq was basically unchanged down 2.06 points down .09 percent for the day. The financial sector continued to struggle. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are having problems. Meanwhile IndyMac is halting new loans and cutting the work force by half. Things are not looking good for the financial markets.
