Online safety is pretty tricky. It really just boils down to one thing though and that is never giving out personal contact information. If you teach your kids how to sign up for and create multiple email addresses, enter fake addresses, fake phone numbers, and then to never give out personal contact information online they will be much safer. It will teach them how to handle the endless barrage of signup forms requesting phone, address, etc required info that they will constantly be hit with. There are many other tips and safety precautions but this is the most important and the first step.
