NBC Universal will be buying the Weather Channel
In a big move NBC Universal will be buying the Weather Channel for the huge dollar amount of 3.5 billion dollars. Landmark Communications, Inc. will be selling the Weather Channel. But will this be a profitable move for NBC Universal? Is the weather really profitable? I wonder what the markets will do this week. Given the holiday I bet it will be very slow.
