HIFU is a High Intensity Focused Ultrasound using the Sonablate® 500 to destroy deep-seated tissue such as cancer cells with pinpoint accuracy. High Intensity Focused Ultrasound allows for minimally invasive prostate cancer treatment. Additional ablatherm information is also available.
