The United Nations predicts that the world economy will only grow by 1.8 percent in the year 2008. This shows signs of bad downturn with the economy for the entire world. Oil has finally gone down in price but poor economic data is hurting the markets. The industrial output of the United States is also falling. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 94.28 points up .73 percent for the day. The Nasdaq was up 37.03 points up 1.48 percent for the day.
