The markets surged today on positive banking news. Strength in the manufacturer sector also helped. Even as the housing slide continued the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 322 points up 2.64 percent with 2 hours left in trading for the day. The Nasdaq was up 64 points up 2.8 with 2 hours or trading left for the day. Can this strength last?
