The market was up slightly today. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 92.84 points up .72 percent. The NASDAQ was up 28.82 points up 1.11 percent. Most of my stocks were up today including Apple Inc, (AAPL) up 4.15 percent, Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) up 4.05 percent, and Emerging Markets Telecommunications Fund Inc. (ETF) up 3.79 percent for the day with 4 hours left in trading. Overall my holdings are up 2.18 percent for the day so far. For a two year period I am back up to 21.55 percent. I guess this teaches you that watching the markets every day should be taken in stride.
