The first day of 2008 was a negative one with the markets down. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 101.05 points down .76 percent for the day. The NASDAQ was down 22.18 points down .83 percent. Since it is now a new year. I will begin discussing my gains in terms of a three year period. Things will start off slow and increase later in the year. Most of my stocks were down today. Overall today I have gained 27.86 percent for a three year period or 9.29 percent per year.
