After the terrible day in the financial markets on Friday, stocks are on the rebound today with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 47.23 pionts up .35 percent with 2 hours left in trading for the day and the NASDAQ up 26.36 points up .97 percent with 2 hours of trading remaining in the day. My stock holdings are largely mixed with Disney (DIS) up 2.25 percent and Microsoft (MSFT) up 1.6% but Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) down 1.16 percent and Emerging Markets Telecommunications Fund Inc. (ETF) down 3.8 percent. Overall I am up 24.36 percent for a two year period or up 12.18 percent per year.
