Oil skyrockets to $97 a barrel after attacks in oil producing Yemen and Afghanistan. Strangely enough the market was up so far with three hours and thirty minutes remaining in trading for the day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 33.90 points up .25 percent and the Nasdaq (whoops was up but is now down during the writing of this) is down .38 points down .01 percent with over 3 hours of trading left in the day. Stocks are mixed today with Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) up 2.53 percent for the day up 41.79 percent for a two year period. Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) was down 2 percent for the day but still up 40 percent for a two year period. Overall my holdings are up 26.8 percent for a two year period.
