Microsoft has reached new heights with a six year high on their recent positive earnings and aquisition news. Also importan, Countrywide Mortgage posted a big loss but was confident the worse was over. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 73.73 points up .54 percent with two hours left in trading for the day. The NASDAQ was up 38.70 points up 1.41 percent with two hours of trading left for the day. Microsoft (MSFT) was up 9 percent for the day after being up 11 percent last night in after hours trading. This puts Microsoft up 36 percent for a two year period. Most of my other holdings were also up today for a daily gain of 1.5 percent for the day over all. My current holdings are up 28.6% for a two year period or 14.3% per year.
