It was a terrible financial day. The Dow Jones Industrial average fell 366.94 points down 2.64 percent for the day on recession fears and the NASDAQ was down 74.15 points down 2.65 percent for the day. All of my stocks were down for the day and overall I lost 2.62 percent for the day. Microsoft (MSFT), EExxon Mobil Corp. (XOM), Emerging Markets Telecommunications Fund Inc. (ETF) were the biggest loosers for the day as each lost more than 3 percent for the day. It is a very good thing that I sold Lowes yesterday as that was down 3.51 percent today. I actually re-invested the money into additional McDonalds (MCD) shares which were only down .65 percent for the day so this was a good move and saved me some loss.
