The markets were down today after a positive day yesterday. High gas prices and energy costs and rising costs in China caused inflation worries. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 62 points down .5 percent for the day with 4 hours of trading left. The NASDAQ was down 4 points down .15 percent with 4 hours in trading left in the day. Stocks were surprisingly mixed today with Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) up 1.6 percent on strong holiday game sales. Walt Disney Co. (DIS) was up .7 percent as well. Overall I am even for the day with a 28.75 percent gain for a two year period.
