Yahoo has rejected the Microsoft bid. In a very stupid move Yahoo claimed the bid was undervalued. Google has offered to help fight the takeover but Microsoft is not easily dissuaded. Microsoft can still take the offer directly to the shareholders. Microsoft could also offer more. We will see how this plays out.
