Hiring a Designer for Your Business Logo
When hiring a graphic designer to create your business logo it is important to see samples of the designers work and only work with them if you can reach them on the phone and verify that they have a physical office. A freelance designer who can not be contacted is more likely to leave you high and dry. You should never pay more than 50 percent of the total cost up front and you should always pay with a method such as a credit card or paypal payment so that you have some recourse if the project is not completed to get your money back. When providing information to the graphic designer it is important to include as much information as possible including other images of ideas or logos you like. You should include items such as colors, if you would like drawn or actual photos included in the logo and if images need to be in a vector format. You should also inform the graphic designer of what the logo will be used for such as billboards, business cards, and letterhead.
