Ford and Chrysler are done. The unions are destroying them, their cars suck, Toyota and Honda are gaining market share daily. It is kind of sad to see the American car maker dream destroyed but it makes one wonder if an American private investor can step in, privatize Ford and Chrysler, clean out the corruption, dismantle the debilitating workers unions, and bring fresh life to producing cars in the United States of America. I for one think it can be done but it is a momentous task. There may not be any Americans brave enough to complete such a task. But does that mean that private companies from other countries will quickly step in and make things right? I believe the answer is yes.
