Well last week was very positive for the markets. The Fed is really trying hard which has many people feeling confident. But the problems do not seem to be going away. This is a very speculative time. It will be interesting to see how the tax rebates will effect things.

The Markets wer up today. Way up. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 250 points up 2.16 percent. The Nasdaq was up 48.15 points up 2.18 percent for the day. There were many positive and negative news stories today. It does appear that there is hope.
Yesterday was a beautiful day in the Stock market. The Dow was up over 400 points over the Fed 3/4 interest rate cut. But it was not to last. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished down 293 points for the day down 2.36 percent. We need gas prices, jobs, and real estate improvements. It looks like nothing can turn this economy around quick.
